| I
saw Allen Ginsberg give a reading at
St Mary's Collage in Maryland in the
winter of '91. It was a small room,
like a dining hall in an old Victorian
home. There was a fire place at one
end and a chandelier that hung in the
center of the room. I brought my Sony
walkman recorder with a Radio Shack
stereo Microphone and placed it on the
mantel and recorded the evening. After
the performance he was very approachable.
Many people stayed around to talk with
him and get his autograph. This photo
is of him signing my journal. |
