Dave
Grisman is another one of those living legends
who doesn't hide from his fans. I've talked
with him a few times, he can usually be found
hanging out after his show. Actually his whole
band is usually out and about. I took this
photo at a show in Colorado and actually talked
with him after that show too. Months later
I saw him in Boston (10/10/98) and brought
this photo along in hopes of having him sign
it. "No problem" he said as we discussed
the beauty of both the venue in Colorado and
the one in which he had just played (The Sanders
Theater). Enrique, his guitarist, chimed in
and said he loved the sound in the Sanders
Hall. Me and my friend Jen enjoyed the show
so much we drove up to Portland the next night
for DGQ at the State Street Church. Dig the
