By
chance I happened to meet Pato Banton. Again
I hung out for a while after the show, shooting
the shit with some friends. It was after a
show he did at the Middle East in Cambridge
(8/18/93). On my way out the door I pulled
down the poster from the door, surprised someone
hadn't beaten me to it. I was rolling it up
as we rounded the corner going to our car
and there was the bass player from Pato's
band. I asked him if he'd sign the poster
and he said no problem. He's singing it and
Pato walks up all smiles and takes the pen
from him and he signs the poster too. We of
course told him how much we loved the show
and he was grateful. A very upbeat and positive
guy for sure.
If you can't read what he wrote it says "One
God, One Aim, One Destiny - PARADISE"
