Ed
Sanders achieved fame in the counterculture
world of the 1960s as poet, magazine founder,
and leading force of the Fugs, a satirical
folk-rock band. I met him at a reading he
did at my college. My writing teacher at
the time was actually good friends with
him and had him visit our class a couple
times. He sparked some great conversations
and inspired many of us to keep writing.
If you get a chance to read any of his material
you wont be disappointed.
